Christa completed the construction of the six building complex comprising the City of Rochester Operations Center for Water, Lighting, and Parking Meter Bureau, totaling 85,000 SF.  Christa performed General Construction services on this single-story, office, maintenance, parts-and-vehicle storage building.  The new Operations Center is not only environmentally friendly and functional; the structure also includes modern technology that meets security and operational needs today and well into the future.  This $5.7 million project was completed ahead of schedule.

This project received LEED Gold Certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).  LEED is the USGBC's leading edge system for designing and constructing the world's greenest, energy efficient, high performing buildings. The Water Operation Center has the distinction of being the first building in Rochester and the first municipal building in the state to be LEED Gold certified.

This project also received the "National Public Works Project of the Year" award for 2006.  This is a very prestigious national award, given by the American Public Works Association (APWA).
