Overview

Provide managerial leadership for Christa Construction, LLC, while maintaining customer satisfaction through quality, service and value. This position requires the individual to have the personal attributes to manage, direct, mentor and support employees through their daily work while demonstrating Christa’s corporate philosophy of outstanding business ethics and principles. Employment is based on return of satisfactory background check.

Duties

  • Supervise and direct overall project. Duties include planning and coordinating activities with others; circumventing/resolving problem areas and ensuring all company/project policies, procedures, and standards are maintained
  • Achieving Customer Satisfaction by meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Customers include Owners, Architects, Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors, and Employees
  • Managing, planning, organizing, coordinating and scheduling the work of the staff in their respective corporate division
  • Insuring that projects under their responsibility are being managed effectively and efficiently
  • Responsible for the profitability of assigned projects and the completion of work per schedule utilizing corporate standard operating procedures to accomplish this goal
  • Solicit, purchase, write, and manage contracts, Contractors and Vendors in the execution of work
  • Prepare and distribute payment applications on a monthly basis
  • Track all project costs and prepare monthly cost to complete report
  • Cost code all project invoices
  • Solicit, procure and manage the labor, material and equipment necessary to execute the work of several projects
  • Actively participate in the solicitation and procurement of new and future employees
  • Insure that standard administrative operating procedures are being complied with
  • Create, update and monitor construction schedule using Microsoft Project
  • Create and submit all project RFI’s and submittals
  • Prepare and distribute all project meeting minutes
  • Maintain all changes to project by posting drawings, updating Plangrid and creating as-built drawings
  • Create closeout binders at end of project and submit to appropriate parties

Autonomy and Accountability

Objectives and how the objectives are achieved will be defined either by the direct supervisor or by explicit procedures and rules. Situations not covered by rules or procedures are referred to supervisor. All assignments, including the performance of tasks and activities, are reviewed by supervisor in detail with the employee.

The salary is between $55K – $100K based on experience.
