Excavator and dump truck preparing ground around the historic Alpheus Clark House at Shadow Pines.

Christa Construction undertook the rehabilitation and addition of the Historic Alpheus Clark House at Shadow Pines. Our teams renovated the existing historic structures, along with a 5,800 SF event space addition. This project was the culmination of years of planning and design meant to honor the property’s history while providing the residents of the Town of Penfield with a modern community space.

There were two main components of this project, the historic rehabilitation of the original Alpheus Clark House, built in 1832, and the new construction of a contemporary event facility. Our team retained and restored the oldest parts of the original house, demolished the later and deteriorated additions, and constructed a 5,800 SF multi-purpose event lodge. This project also included exterior public restroom, site paving, landscaping upgrades, and structural improvements to the preexisting cart barn. This project reflects the Town of Penfield’s dedication to community improvement and promises to be an integral part of The Town of Penfield for generations to come.
