Municipal Penfield Alpheus Clark House and Lodge

Christa Construction has been selected by the Town of Penfield to undertake the rehabilitation of the historic Alpheus Clark House at Shadow Pines. Coupled with a new 5,800-square-foot event space, this project is the culmination of years of planning and design that honor the property’s history while providing modern amenities. Existing structures will be restored and outdated sections removed to create a cohesive, functional environment for community gatherings.

The project has two main components: the historic rehabilitation of the original Alpheus Clark House, built in 1832, and the new construction of a contemporary event facility. The scope includes retaining and restoring the oldest parts of the original house, demolishing later, deteriorated additions, and constructing a 5,800-square-foot multi-purpose event lodge. The project also features an exterior public restroom, site paving, landscaping upgrades, and structural improvements to the preexisting cart barn. This project reflects the Town of Penfield’s dedication to community improvement and promises to be an integral part of Penfield upon its opening in fall 2026.
