March 7, 2022 Christa Breaks Ground on CDS Olympic Avenue Apartments at Former School #78

March 4, 2022 (Buffalo, NY) – Christa has broken ground on CDS’ affordable adaptive reuse development at Former School #78 in Buffalo, NY.

In partnership with CDS Housing and architecture firm SWBR, the former school will be redeveloped into 46 affordable housing units. The apartment complex will comprise of 43 one-bedroom and three two-bedroom apartments. Apartment amenities include a fitness center, gym, community center and auditorium.

Olympic Avenue Apartments is part of Governor Hochul’s plans for New York State to make housing more affordable, equitable, and stable. The project is slated to be completed in April 2023.
