Triple Honors for Christa Construction: A Celebration of Craft, Community, and Leadership

Exciting news! Christa Construction has been recognized with three major honors from the Rochester Business Journal’s 2025 Leaders in Construction & Real Estate Awards. These three awards reflect our team’s commitment to building with purpose and stand as a tribute to the people who make it all possible.

Company Award:
Christa Construction has been named the 2025 Leaders in Construction and Real Estate General Contractor of the Year. We are honored to receive this award as it reflects the dedication of our team, and the strength of our mission to build a better Rochester. Whether through thoughtful design, strong partnerships, or our commitment to our community, Christa Construction continues to set the standard for New York’s General Contractors.

Top Project:
The Barack and Michelle Obama Center for Teen Empowerment has been recognized as a 2025 Top Project by the Rochester Business Journal. We cannot be prouder of the impact this project has had on the youth in our community. This youth-led space is more than just a pretty building; it serves as the foundation of a major movement providing a launchpad for our youth to learn and grow. Christa Construction is proud to have played a role in bringing the Teen Empowerment’s vision to life.

Individual Award:
Gail Morelle, Vice President and Partner of Christa Construction has been named 2025 Individual Leader in Construction. Gail’s decades of mentorship, advocacy and integrity have helped shape not only Christa Construction, but the industry at large. Her leadership has paved the way for the success of her people and is a testament to what is possible when you lead with purpose.
