May 25, 2021 Comfort Inn General Manager Recognizes Paul Kirk for Work Done

As we are reopening, so is the hospitality industry and hotels. Comfort Inn and Suites, our out of state project is nearing completion to be open for booking in July. Even throughout the pandemic and the challenges that come with a project being out of state, the Christa team ensured to do everything to keep the project moving forward safely.

Casey Cook, General Manager, recognizes both Superintendent Paul Kirk and Joe Gosely for their work done to get the hotel up and running, even at a stressful time. Casey Cook writes:

“Dave [Mattucci],

Good evening sir. I hope you are the right person to send this to. If not, can you please forward it to the right person. I just wanted to express my thoughts about working with Paul Kirk.

I am the general manager at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Clarkston, MI. I first started working with Paul in March and knew right away I was in good hands. I’ve opened up five hotels over my 20-year career and Paul is hands down the best superintendent I’ve worked with.

Paul is a true professional from start to finish. Not only does he know how to do anything and everything when I come to construction, but he also knows how to handle and deal with people. He is always calm, cool, and collected even when the pressure is at its highest. What I like most about Paul, is that he is true to his word. If he tells you something, you can rest assure that he’s going to do it and do it right.

It has truly been a pleasure working with Paul while getting the hotel open. He never let me down, ever. It’s a stressful time opening a hotel, but Paul made it much easier than I ever expected.

And before I end this email, I feel I need to give a quick shoutout to Joe G too. When Paul was on vacation, Joe stepped up and got the job done. We never missed a beat when Joe was on watch. He most definitely rose to the occasion and worked his ass off to make sure all deadlines were met.

Thanks for your time.

Casey Cook”

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Paul Kirk understood the importance of showing up even more for both clients and teammates on the project and Joe Gosely stepped as a team player on the project as well.
