Christa Construction is proud to have served as the General Contractor for the transformation of Confluence Court Apartments, a once-vacant property now redeveloped into a vibrant, safe, and supportive residential community in the heart of downtown Binghamton. The Confluence Court Street Apartments project brings new life to a long-underutilized historic structure, delivering high-quality affordable housing and essential supportive services to individuals and families across Broome County.
This multi-phase redevelopment included the renovation of an existing building along with construction of a new three-story addition, creating a total of 111 thoughtfully designed apartments. The development features a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, including residences reserved for individuals earning up to 60% of the Area Median Income. Several apartments are also fully adapted to meet mobility and hearing/vision accessibility needs.
A significant portion of the building is dedicated to supportive housing, with onsite services designed to help residents achieve stability, independence, and long-term success. Partner agencies will provide case management, life-skills support, employment readiness assistance, transportation resources, and community-building opportunities. These wraparound services create a holistic living environment that goes beyond housing to promote overall well-being.
Christa Construction managed all aspects of construction with a focus on safety, efficiency, and long-term durability. Our team worked closely with Helio Health, Eagle Star Housing, and the full project team to honor the development’s mission: converting a long-vacant site into a meaningful community asset. This project reflects Christa’s ongoing commitment to building spaces that strengthen neighborhoods, expand access to quality housing, and support healthier, more resilient communities across New York State.
