Commercial Offices & Mixed Use The Kendrick Apartments – 41 Units

The Kendrick at 18–22 Utica Street has transformed downtown Hamilton, NY through the construction of a new four‑story mixed‑use building that replaced several aging structures formerly located on the site. Christa Construction began by demolishing the existing buildings to prepare for redevelopment. Now complete, the Christa Construction delivered a 78,000 sq. ft. building designed to strengthen the walkability, connectivity, and vibrancy of the village center.

The first floor of The Kendrick features commercial, office, and restaurant space that supports local business activity and encourages foot traffic throughout the downtown corridor. This level also includes a structured parking garage, providing convenient access for residents and visitors. The second through fourth floors offer 41 modern residential units, including 15 one‑bedroom and 26 two‑bedroom apartments. A public courtyard and outdoor seating area further enhance the pedestrian experience, creating a welcoming space for community gathering, relaxation, and connection between Utica and Madison Streets.

To honor the historic character of the Village of Hamilton, the building’s front façade is clad in brick, blending modern construction with the historic architectural identity of the surrounding neighborhood. Through thoughtful material selection and careful coordination, our team ensured the new structure complements its surroundings while meeting modern standards for quality and durability.
