Affordable & Supportive Housing DePaul Port Byron Apartments – 69 units

DePaul Port Byron Apartments was an existing apartment complex, in spring of 2022, construction began on a new building next to the existing community. The new building will feature 69 affordable & supportive units centrally located to many local amenities.  Upon completion of the new building in July 2023, current residents will relocate to the new building and the old building will be demolished, creating space for parking, a community garden, and a courtyard.  Onsite services will be available though DePaul for 30 units, with housing specialists on site to teach skills and assist residents with community services.  There will be 18 units with ADA accessibility and 3 units with hearing and vision accessibility (HVA).
