August 16, 2023 Christa Construction Celebrates the Opening of Two Affordable Housing Developments in Montgomery County

August 16, 2023 (Amsterdam, NY) – Christa Construction completed two affordable housing projects in Montgomery County. Both Veddersburg Apartments and Holland Circle Apartments will add 110 affordable and supportive home ins the City of Amsterdam.

DePaul Veddersburg Apartments have a total of 63 units centrally located in a residential area near grocery, schools, places of worship, medical care, banks, libraries, and government agencies.  On-site services are available for 31 units, with housing specialist to teach skills and assist tenants in connecting to community services.  There are 15 units with ADA accessibility and 3 units with hearing and vision accessibility (HVA) in the building. Additionally, there are 31 units including 28 one-bedroom and 3 two-bedroom apartments open to the community.

Holland Circle Apartments is a three-story, 48 unit, affordable and supportive complex in Amsterdam, NY. There are 21 available units including 15 one-bedroom, 3 two-bedroom, and 3 three-bedroom apartments. On-site services are available for the other 27 units, with housing specialists that teach skills and assist tenants in linking to community services. There are 6 units with ADA accessibility and 3 units with hearing and vision accessibility (HVA) in the building.
