October 15, 2021 Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate the New Pennant Ingredients Warehouse
Rochester, NY October 15, 2021 – Pennant Ingredients, Inc. will be joined by incoming Puratos Group Chairperson, Cedric Van Belle, as well as current Group CEO, Daniel Malcorps to commemorate the completion of the Pennant Ingredients warehouse with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 64 Chester Street Rochester, NY 14611. The dedication took place on Friday, October 15th, at 1 pm.
Pennant Ingredients’ new warehouse is intended to add additional functionality to the general operations of their already existing operations. Work began in December of 2020 and cost $3.0 million to complete. Overall, the new construction is a 17,600 square foot warehouse that will accommodate the ever-expanding distribution of ingredients of baked goods.
Pennant Ingredients is a large baked goods supplier for the foodservice and retail markets operating in the US. With over 70 years of expertise in producing and delivering ready-to-use mixes and toppings, Pennant Ingredients generates more than 70 million dollars in sales and employs 100 people in Rochester, NY. Pennant Ingredients currently has 2 locations. The Dry Mix Plant is located at 64 Chester Street, which manufactures donuts, cakes, muffins, and other mixes. In contrast, the Buffalo Road location – The Wet Mix Plant (181 + 235 Buffalo Road) produces fillings, icings, and glazes.
