September 23, 2025 Ribbon Cutting Marks Completion of Center City Courtyard

On September 17, 2025, CSD Housing and HELP Development Corp. Officially celebrated the completion of Center City Courtyard with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that brought together future residents, community partners, civic leaders, and our project team. This milestone event capped off a three-year vision to transform an underutilized parking lot into one of Rochester’s largest supportive housing communities.

The cutting of the ribbon signified the opening of this 164-unit complex. Totaling more than 174 thousand square feet and standing 5 stories tall, Center City is a significant addition to the downtown landscape. Residents of Center City Courtyard have access to many amenities including community and fitness rooms, a rooftop lounge, onsite supportive services and more. A mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments provide flexibility for residents seeking a place to call home. 95 of the 164 units are reserved for individuals or families at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness.
