June 10, 2026 Christa Construction Celebrates Completion of the Penfield Alpheus Clark House and Event Lodge at Shadow Pines

Christa Construction is proud to announce the completion of the Alpheus Clark House and Event Lodge at Shadow Pines in Penfield, NY. This project brings new life to one of the town’s most historic properties, all while creating a modern community gathering space for residents of Penfield.

This project combined the historic rehabilitation of the 1832 Alpheus Clark House with the new construction of a 5,800 sq. ft. multi‑purpose event lodge. The project represents years of planning and collaboration by the Town of Penfield to preserve the site’s heritage while expanding its community use.

Christa’s team restored the oldest portions of the original Clark House, carefully removing deteriorated additions and reinforcing the structure to ensure long‑term stability. Alongside the restoration, crews constructed a modern event lodge designed to host community programs, rentals, and public events. Additional improvements included exterior public restrooms, site paving, landscaping upgrades, and structural enhancements to the preexisting cart barn.

Delivered ahead of schedule and under budget, the project reflects Christa Construction’s commitment to high‑quality craftsmanship, cost‑effective solutions, and meaningful community investment.

To mark the completion, representatives from Christa joined Town of Penfield officials and community members for a ribbon cutting ceremony at Shadow Pines. The event celebrated not only the restoration of a historic landmark, but also the creation of a new civic asset that blends the character of the past with the needs of the present.
