Christa Construction is proud to mark an important milestone for the Eagle Star Cheektowaga Veterans’ Home, as Executive Director Zach Fuller of Eagle Star Housing participated in the ceremonial First Dig, officially kicking off construction of this meaningful project.

The new 20-unit transitional housing community will provide veterans with more than a place to live—it will provide a supportive environment designed to help them successfully transition into their next chapter.

Christa Construction is leading construction of the approximately 10,000-square-foot, $4.5 million facility. Once complete, the home will feature 20 private residential spaces, along with dedicated areas for on-site supportive services, community lounges, dining areas, a kitchen, computer areas, and other shared amenities.

For Eagle Star Housing, the project expands its mission of serving veterans and individuals experiencing housing instability throughout Western New York. For Christa Construction, it is an opportunity to build something that will have an impact far beyond the walls of the facility.

We are honored to work alongside Eagle Star Housing and the project team to bring this important resource to the Cheektowaga community.

The first dig may mark the beginning of construction, but the real foundation of this project is service—supporting those who have served our country.
